The big stallion stayed with Lady, she would carry his first foal and he would always be around for her if she needed him along with his other mares. He nuzzled her muzzle and started grooming her neck.

Lady was glad that Keeper stayed around. She still was a little nervous, and her stomach kept making odd twitches. She tried hard to ignore them, and turn her attention to Keeper. She twisted her neck slightly to grip gently onto Keeper's boa. She rubbed her teeth along his neck ridge and scrapped off any dirt.

Keeper could feel that she was still a little nervous and he continued grooming her painted coat. He also ridded her mane of twigs that the forest had placed. He wanted to try relax her so he tried to move her mind to something else, Are you hoping for anything particularly? He really didn't care if it came out a filly or colt, and with its parents most likely it was going to be a pinto depending on her bloodlines. He could throw out paints but he could also throw out solids.

Lady turned her head softly to Keeper. "I don't know," she said, "but it has to be a paint." Her stomach became worse, and yet she was so new in foal. She ignored it again, "Maybe a filly, or a colt, I don't know," she forced a soft laugh, for her stomach became less hurting.

Keeper smirked her only wish was for a paint and they had a strong possiblility of that happening. He could see in her orbs though that she was hurting. His orbs grew softer and he nuzzled her and asked, Is it better if you move around? He hated seeing her in pain and it was only the beginning, it would become worse as the months went by.

Lady shrugged, "Sure, but it may not help," she said. She walked around slowly. Already the foal seemed to be forming. She stretched her legs out a little.

Keeper walked beside her his head kept at her level and his forelock flicked back out of his eyes. He kept his ears pricked listening around them as he stayed alert hoping that Lady would just relax for it was going to be a long 11 months.

Lady noticed sadly that is was going to be a long 11 months. Well, this probably meant the foal was going to be big and strong. Lady tried to cheer herself up.
Silence stood at the top of the hill. Both of them were not able to see her even though she was white, she went well with her name. She narrowed her eyes angrily at Lady. No, she didn't want a fight, just a foal too, but she already had what she wanted. And she later figured out she only wanted a foal because she was jealous, oh well.

(uh oh, ) Keeper didn't really know what to do to try and cheer up Lady. He decided to try and get her mind off the pain and asked, So were you born in the wild or owned by humans at one time? You don't find many drafty horses out in the wild that had actually been born wild. Keeper's mom and been bred while she was with humans but she had Keeper in the wild so Keeper never interacted with humans.

((yep! uh oh! lol )) Lady shrugged, "Wild I guess," she said. She could hardly remember being a foal. But she did remember one thing, being on a range owned by humans. And they rounded them up, but there were no fences. So Lady could hardy tell wild or kept.

Keeper nodded his dial and looked at Lady, Everything will be alright. Though right now she probably didn't agree with him, for she was in enough pain for him to see it in her orbs. He nuzzled her again lovingly as they walked.

Lady nodded, but it really felt it wasn't. She never knew having a foal would be this bad. She tried to shrug it off again. But it didn't work. She suddenly collasped and laid her head on the ground. She spoke before Keeper. "I'm fine," she said. She let out a quiet sigh.
Silence watched with a mournful glance from above. It was going to be along 11 month for the poor mare. She decided to help her. She trotted down the hill. She nuzzled her gently and said, "Get up, this is too much pressure on your foal." Silence knew a lot about foals. She had had about three before she came here.

Keeper really didn't know what to do for Lady for he never really had been around pregnant mares. He was glad that Silence had come down though for it looked like she knew what she was talking about.

Lady nodded, but didn't get up. She shrugged and laid her head down again. So soon, so horrible. Finally, Lady jerked up and lowered her head once standing. Her eyes were full of embarrassment. She turned tail and cantered off.
Silence looked after Lady with a sad face. She felt bad, and maybe had embarassed her too much. She sighed and turned to Keeper, then walked away too.

Keeper stood back and watched he wanted to help Lady but he really didn't know how. He tried to speek when she ran off but the words wouldn't leave his maw. He looked to Silence and watched her walk off too. He still stood looking back as the painted mare seemed to dissapear into the trees. He would let her have some space, but started walking in the direction she had left in.

Lady left her head hanging as she stopped in deep of the woods as possible. She wanted to be alone now. She took a deep breath, and raised her head a little to find out where she was. She hardly cared if she was still in Keeper's terra or not.

Keeper let her be alone, he moved to an open field and grazed. He kept his ears perked listening to the sounds in his terra. He hoped she would be fine, he hated seeing her run off like that.

Lady couldn't help it. Foals, why did I ever want one? She felt incredibly embarassed, collapsing. But was it her fault? She really did collapse. Her legs gave out, and she tried to get up, it was just when Silence came. She sighed.
Silence appeared over the small hill. She trotted down the Lady. "It's not always this way," she said. She felt bad on embarrassing the mare, and understood she was hurting.
Lady shrugged. "How long, really eleven months?" she asked.
Silence nodded, "But sometimes, they can be enjoyed," she sighed. Though hers really wasn't. Not because of the foals, but because of her stallion, who thought he could kick mares and get them to give birth faster.
