(if you already have one of my mares please refrain from claiming her as I would like some variety in the lands my mares go to. Thanks.)
With broken wings I try to fly, Because it takes so long to die. The one thing that will save me will come to late, So lets end my horrible fate.
The pounding of hooves echoed through the darkness. Light showed but black was hidden in the dark night. A pray was sent out from a black splashed fae to the skies above. Lord throw me down into the ground, kill me now, without a sound. Take me fast or take me slow, I really don't care how I go. In the day I lay in the dark, I will have died from my broken heart. I can't stand the pain I've caused, I try to be good, I try, I do. But I've killed so many in my blind rage. I can't stand to live again. I don't care where I go, up or down, does it matter? Just kill me. The silent plea rang. She had killed many in her past, she had tried to stop and now her mind was covered with pain filled eyes, looking up at her, praying that she wouldn't kill them. But she had. She had never been trusted, been loved, so she is yet to do so. She had been brought in to herds only to be abused and that was how her spirit was torn. She reared up like she was about to fly, but she knew she never would again as she had once in her mind. So instead she realised a shrieking call. Hoping a kind stallion would find her...
Here I stand, So long to wait, To be loved and filled with grace. So I lay on cold floor, And hope to breath no more.

Keeper trotted into the lands his neck arched and his hooves moving almost silently over the terrain. He stopped on the rise that looked over the lands seeing mares and more mares but stallions already talking with them hoping to take them home with them. He sighed but then he saw a painted fae. Her black hiding with the shadows but her white shinning with the suns rays. He made his way down the rise at a two beat and then slowed to a walk. His feathered daggers moved his big frame over the terrain elegantly. His tail barely touching the ground as it swayed back and forth with his movements and his banner brushing up against his neck. He tossed his head throwing his forelock back away from his eyes. He looked the painted fae over and then stopped a few feet away.
Greetings, I am Death's Keeper. Keeper for short. Who might you be?

Darkwing stood upon the hill. His bay frame held still. His tail blew behind him. And his mane followed. His dark orbs glared down. His daggers gripped the ground. He let his piercing stare, wander the lands, and fall the on the black mare. Darkwing walked down, his slick bay pelt rolled over his large muscles. He tossed his head and snorted, uncovering his orbs from his forelock. His legs danced, as he began to trot, until he was not to far away from the mare. He ignored the stallion, as if he wasn't there. Was he? Darkwing smiled, and that was his greeting, there was no need for anything else.
((Whoa, did NOT mean to rhyme there! lol))

Head turned to the stallions, lucky her, a crowd already. Hmmm... Eeny, Meany, Miney, Moe. Who should she choose, where should she go. On deseptively delicate hooves she turned to face the black paint and bay. Her ears went foward with slight intrest then flicked back. To them she was nothing but a slave. She would not do as they say or let them bring her pain. She sized up the one who spoke, his body was bold but held no awkwardness, instead there was elagence to him. She considered his question, Black Angel. Why should you care? she snapped, no patience left from her epics. She turned her orbs to the silent one. Something about him entrigued her. But the cold smile he gave made her warry, those who held it usually meant trouble. Her hooves looked fragile, which seemed to draw in the stags, pretty and fine features equalled a great slave did it not? Not her, not anymore, these hooves where sharper then daggers and had killed many. She was prepared to do so but longed to stop. The way she moved was a hint to her battle experience, the redish tint to her hooves a warning of her deeds.

(wow, now I'm starting to rhyme! just at the beginning but anyway...)

((lol!))
Darkwing snorted. He didn't turn his elegant face to the other stallion. Then, he did turn on him, "You, you have her!" This was nothing about the mare in front of the two stags, but the white one, the white one that belonged to Darkwing's father's herd.

Death's Keeper watched the mare her hiss keeping him on his guard for obviously the mare had a bad past, but it didn't seem unusual anymore. He looked to the brute as he spoke. The mare wasn't his to give, she would either come or go to maybe find another. He pinned his ears down at the bay brute, she wasn't a prize to win but a mare to love and protect. He had a soft side for mares but a hate for most stallions. He looked back at the splash colored mare his ears pricked and said, Its usually a good thing to get to know the mare your inviting to join you at your home and usually asking for a name is a start for then you can speak to her and not call her mare as you speak. He knew mares that were soft at heart but usually the ones that had a hard soul didn't get along with others and he had to worry about his other mares as well.

Darkwing bared his teeth, he dropped the subject, but only for a little. He turned back to the mare, "Names mean nothing," he repeated. He was annoyed on having to repeat it over and over again.

What, did I scare you. Oops, I'm so sorry. She said in a mocking tone. She didn't even look at the other stallion now, focased on this one. She took a step closer to him. Suddenly she had a thought and lashed out at him in a hard tone, rage filling her, Or am I not good enough for you? Her voice was like stone, just then her front hoof struck out at him and put a slight gash in his forleg. The thought that this little stallion thought he was too good for her out raged her. Is this perfect little stallion too good for anyone! Well if that's the way it should be I hope you get killed. she growled. Then another thought flashed infront of her mind, was he really scared of her or did she remind him of someone he was scared of, Or do I remind you of someone scary. I assure you I am nothing like them, I'm unique you see. she said her voice suddenly gentle, she was having one of her mood flashes.

Darkwing smiled viciously. "Little, you are smaller that me," he snorted. He let her blows bounce off him, they felt like nothing, but it made him angry, and he was annoyed with being struck at all the time. He pushed his hoof out hard and smacked it into her chest.

Her ears pinned flat against her skull, Wow, someone has an attidude problem, just like every other idiotic stallion I meet that thinks they can boss mares around all the time. Just breed and have foals and take over and make their stupid herd bigger! That's all you stallions ever want isn't it? She hissed, patience running short. Hooves danced dangerously beneath her as she glared at the stallions through icy eyes.

Keeper pinned his ears down but didn't see the use it would just anger the mare more. He bared his teeth at the bay brute, he wasn't helping matters and who said all stallions where that way. Mares deserve as much respect as a stallion. A herd is nothing without loyal mares and the only way to get true loyalty is to have trust and you can't have trust with mares if you push them around all the time. He already had a few loving mares that he cared for and he didn't want to see them get hurt if she was this way with other mares too.

She raised from her menancing pose and turned to look at him, obviously suprised, I must be dreaming. she said quietly and shook her head, he was probably just saying that to get her to go with him. She looked into his eyes and saw a trueth in them though and also worry. Did he worry that if she went with him he would hurt his previous mares? Who knew. Sure he did but her, she was clueless, she only hurt or killed when she was injured or threatened to be hurt, she always gave a warning though so she saw it as fair game...

Darkwing growled, "You are dreaming," he snapped. His tail lashed down his flank and left a large scratch. His orbs pierced through the other stallion, "How about this," he smirked, "we fight for this . . . mare, and whoever wins, gets her," Darkwing smiled.

Great, more fighting, is that what stallions always resorted to. Anyone ever heard of choice! Guess not. Oh well. One place I would be a slave, the other, who knows. If he was nice I would be uncomfortable for a while getting used to it. She sighed. Oh well, she was nothing but a mare. Why should she get to choose or live freely or only have foals when she wanted to? Because I rule myself. Was her silent reminder. Maybe it would be good if she was dead... Or not.... She flipped her silky mane and looked at the two of them.

(ok..... hmmm... I have an idea. Hmmmm... It would work better with Snow though.... hmmm... I think I'd like Darkwing to make Snow go to his terras mabye instead of Black Angel.... Snow he would be able to push around more. hmmmm.... lots of hmmms.... lol)

((lol...hmmm, hmmm...i like hmms. )) Death's Keeper didn't see a reason to fight, atleast not now. He laughed on the inside as the bay tried to give him a piercing gaze, looks didn't scare Keeper and his body still stood relaxed. And if you won, what makes you think the mare would even leave with you. He sneered back to the bay stag. Ohh wait, she don't have a choice and you would just push her there. Keepers orbs glowed obviously the stallions were completely different and believed different things. She would become the bay stallions slave, if he just backed down, because the mare wouldn't live with him willingly.

((Hmm, dunno))
Darkwing found his gaze not working, but he kept it anyway. "Idiot stallion, because I won, and yes, because I fought for her," he growled. "But, if you are a chicken, you can not fight and back out, I could care less," Darkwing smirked.

Keeper could see the stallion getting happy with himself already, Why would I back down to you? His voice was almost mocking, he wasn't scared of the stallion. Why should he be? Keeper turned back to the mare and wondered if she was really worth it. If he fought it wasn't really going to be to get the mare but to protect her from havening to go with the ungrateful stallion.

"Oh, it just looked like you were scared, that's all," Darkwing smirked. He really wanted this mare, but he wanted to fight more.

Keeper relaxed again his ears pricked, he wanted to laugh but he just laughed on the inside. The stallion didn't want the mare, he was looking for a fight. All he would do with the mare is take her and push her around. If your looking for a mare to push around, i would try to find one a little more on the shy side.

Darkwing was getting annoyed with the worthless stallion, "Look, are you a whimp to fight? Or a brave boy to loose?" Darkwing hissed, he ignored what the stallion said.
