Zodiac ventured from the bachalor lands his black bodice moving gracefully over the land. He stayed hidden in the trees as he saw the wrenched humans taking the black and white stallion away. Now no stag laid in the Hidden Falls and he cantered in. He rose upon his legs and let his call ring through all the lands that he now claimed it. It also rang as a warning to the mares if they wanted to stay they could if not then they must leave.
((if your mare is staying please tell me so))

Stormy Satan watched the new stag from behind some brush. He let out a call of claiming, and warning. It was a chance to leave the terra. But she was not sure whether to leave, for she loved this place. What was the stag like? was he alike to Keeper? or cruel?...She knew not, and decided to watch in her hidden place, until she knew. But her legs drew her forward, uncontrolably from her spot, and she left the woods, to be in plain sight. She quickly tested the wind, and found not a trace of human scent. So since she was already revealved from her spot she took the chance to get a better view of the stag. She could not tell his personality, but she stood silently pondering whether to leave or stay....
She would leave. She didn't want to take her chances with the new stallion, and she didn't trust him. she turned on her heels and galloped away in the mist....

Lady said nothing no more, what was the point? Her love was gone, and gone he was. She was dead. A walking ghost. Her painted spots making the legend parents told their foals, true.
Silence had to push the poor mare along. Zephyr steered clear, the needle still stabbing and jabbing at his poor, young heart. Being so young, he'd already seen too much.
Silence noticed the new stallion. She knew Layd wouldn't care who she stayed with any longer, and Silence didn't much either. But she suddenly realized a resemblance. DARKWING!!! No, Darkwing's son!! It was screaming in her head. Great, the black stallion's evil sinister bloodlines were be passed along.
But Zep didn't notice. "Come on," he said, walking to the new stallion. He knew he would be kicked out soon, so what was the point. And Lady hardly cared. And Silence, Silence just wanted to stay by Lady's side, even though they started off bad. So she went against her instincts and brought them to the new stallion.
She bowed, but still told the stallion with her posture, she was lead mare, and was not to be bossed around easily. She tried to stand in front of Lady, hoping he wouldn't kick her out because of how dead she was. Zephyr tried to hide too, but there was no use anyway. Silence hoped that the stallion wasn't taught too much of how Darkwing's father had lost the mare he craved, evily.

Zodiac watched the three approch and he kept his body strong, his orbs were hard but not as evil as some of the other stallions that roamed. He could see the white mare had been lead but not anymore, he would find another and she would have to find her place in the new herd. As for the other two, the painted mare was devestated at the loss of her stallion and he wouldn't bother with her as for the colt that strayed he could stay for now but not long for Zodiac would push the colt out for he didn't need the threat of another stag in his lands.
The white mare had a gaze in her orbs though that she knew him, well he laughed at that for she would find out differently for he wasn't like the other stallions no matter what she thought. He dipped his black dial. I am Zodiac, son of Darkwing and Death's Angel. What are your names? His voice was strong but not evil for like he had told others you couldn't force mares to stay and you had to give them a little respect as well. He struggled for he could have said the part about him being Death's Keeper's grandson but he let that one pass. If they knew his mother they would know, if not then they didn't need to know because if they knew Angel they knew that she had a little heart and she passed it onto her son.

Silence suddenly noticed that the stallion was not respecting her position. She struck out and gave a flat and horror-like warning to the stallion. The blow hit hard in the stallion's chest. She heard a small snap. Then she laid her ears back and said, "No nice guy with me, I knew your stupid dad and his more stupid dad," she fuddled with the words. Then she laid her ears back again. Noticing he had hardly any interest in the lot before him.

Zodiac pinned his ears down and barred his ivores at the mare. This was not her land anymore and he could easily kick them all out of it for usually they would have been with the stallion before him. He reared up but did nothing instead he did a quick turn and laid both back hooves upon the the white mares shoulder. He then resumes his position, he was lead stag now and he would choose who his lead was. He took in a deep breath, the kick had taken the air out but that was all he wasn't here to fight mares and they were lucky to still have a home.

Silence growled as his hooves planted themselves into her shoulder. She gasped, but then decided fight it is, if you stupid thing wants it! She suddenly adjusted her teeth, and legs. She sprang and landed her hooves deep in his back. At the same time, she twisted her jaws and locked them on the neck, just above the throat. She twisted her head and shook. Blood hung on her teeth, but she shook it angrily, before stepping back to kick off the next attack, if he was brave enough.
Zephyr watched horrified. He suddenly stepped in front of Silence, "Step back you son of the devil!" He snapped. "You touch you, you wish your mother never let you leave fro her side! Zephyr had had many training lessons from his mother and father, and Silence. He was ready for anything.

Zodiac didn't struggle like most for he learned if you did it only made the injury worse. Once released he through his weight into the mare to throw her down then Zephyr stepped in. He sighed, he really didn't want a fight with any of them but the mares position was with Keeper and he was not Keeper. You were Keeper's lead, you are not mine. You will back down or you can leave and find a stag that will give you the position you want. As for Zephyr he turned to the painted colt. He would not tramatize the painted mare any more by fighting with her colt so he made his words clear. You are plently old enough to leave as well colt. I am not looking for a fight, but this is my land and I will choose its lead or I will let them challenge. But I will not give respect to just any mare it has to be earned. And I already know many of your lessons that your father would have taught you for his daughter Death's Angel has already taught them to me. He stood tall, though he wasn't a direct son of Death's Keeper he still knew how to fight much like the stag. His mother had told stories of the kind giant that she had seeked for many years and he was proud to have him as a grandfather.

Silence growled. "You fool!" she spat, "I don't care who is the stallion of this place! I AM the LEAD MARE!" she yelled. Pretending the stallion couldn't hear her. She then slapped her tail into his face and walked away, not listening to another word.
Zephyr nodded. He was a kind hearted soul, and decided to just leave to not cause the new stallion any trouble. He nuzzled his mother, who just pushed him back. Zephyr left with a sad heart again.

S inging A N ew S ong Pheonixs song
Song trotted towards the crowd. She looked at the stag unsure who he was. Her past caught up with her for a second. She shook it off, her pale tresses dancing. Her liver chestnut glittered as she walked towards the black stag.

Lace pricked an ear as she heard fighting. What could it be? she thought curiously. And sped around to find out....
She skidded to a halt in the clearing, a bit back from the action and stayed hidden in the shadows. She swiftly observed what was happening and saw a mare defying Zodiac his place. Lace pinned her ears back and came out from the shadows. as she walked out her muscles rippled greatly as if a challenge, and she turned to the mare who was fighting with Zodiac. You should not defy Zodiac his position! she said bitterly, her voice loud and strong Even if you are some lead mare that gives you NO right to speak to your stag that way. If your thoughts to him are so bitter, why are you still here?!!! The mare Lace was speaking to was ovbiously the old lead mare. And Lace believed in tradition, which this mare was ovbiously denying. Her silvery orbs flashed, and her muscles rippled underneath her silky white, spotted pelt......

Silence turned on the mare. She struck out giving her a final and hard blow. "I don't care who roams this land and calls themselves the stallion. I AM the leadmare, I was always hear. So I take my position and keep it. So I suggest you little mare hobble on away before I take your maw off before you can speak again!" She snapped. Her voice hissed angrily and was full of malice. Lady watched from behind. Lady was sorta gaining her power back, noticing she was not the only one who wanted it the same. So she glared at the mare, and finally spoke. It's surprising to hear Lady. Silence was so surprised, she spun around and looked for Keeper, but not seeing him, she stared at Lady again, had she helped the mare, a little? "Foolish fighters," was all she said. Yet Silence was still proud the mare had spoken. But she felt bad for Lady, who had seen so much fighting, and had had her heart torn out of her chest. Lady glared at the new mare, and with that, she turned her ghostly body away, her misty eyes returned, and her haunted body clung to her once again.

Lace's daggers sunk into the ground as the mare kicked her. And the blow had no affect other then maybe a small bruise. she pinned her ears back at the rude mare and said bitterly Oh, is that a threat? her voice dripping with sarcasm. She paid no attention to the painted mare, with the ghostly orbs, for Lace had nothing against her. But turned back to the mare who had kicked her at first and snapped bitterly You have the manners of a newborn filly, and absolouty no respect for stallions, who RIGHTFULLY claim lands. Lace knew she was pushing her luck with the mare but she wasn't going to let the mare just walk away, with such a disrespectful comment as that. And anyway, the mare did not intimidate her even at bit. She swiftly struck out a hoof at the mare and made contact. The kick was not a hard one, but it was powerful all the same, and anyway, it was only a warning that she could fight too. She raised her tiara and her silvery orbs flashed.....

.;Karida;. Young souls shouldn't be hurt like this
The painted filly tossed her head as she trotted over. She saw the horses arguing, and heard the harsh words each horse said to the other. What's happening? Her voice quivered, she was nervous unsure scared. Again.. All over again...

Silence touched her filly. "A mare thinks she's in charge," she said, out of ear from the foolish mare. She then turned back to the mare. She snorted. The blow did nothing. She then started to smirk, and then burst out laughing. "You.." she choked, still laughing, "you're so stupid you think that'll stop me!?" she laughed harder. But when she heard what she said about the stallion, she stopped. She turned her deadly eyes to the mare, and locked them angrily. She walked up and pushed to the mare back. "You're submissive, a ratty submissive mare, you submit to a stallion just because they seem better," he growled, "you betray your own gender. You're doing it to seem better to a stallion." And without a word. She jumped, and sprang. She landed on the mare's back and heard a terribly loud crack. She got off and kicked them mare over. With that, she left and galloped away into the woods with Lady, and her filly Karida.

For a second, I thought you might be smart. But if you think I actually tried to kick you, You must be stupider then you look. Lace snapped sarcastically back at the mare. For an old lead mare the one she was talking to was pretty stupid, and foolish. She locked her gaze angrily on the mare and there was a deadly stare between them....
Lace let out a laugh dripping with sarcasm as the mare spoke. And replied menicinally Oh, and you're saying this? Why don't you look at your own reflection? And I am not the one betraying my gender, I am honoring tradition. Which you are dumstruck about ovbiously. She growled, Her voice strong....
When the mare lept upon her Lace let herself down to the ground and kicked furiously at the mare who was so clueless at fighting. Before the other mare got up she sunk her teeth deep into the horse's flesh and felt sour blood on her tongue....
Lace got up easily. and laughed sarcastically as the mare galloped off. If the mare called that fighting, she was wasting her time. In fact, it was such a weak attempt that mare had made it had almost seemed like a game. Even though Lace had not bitten down hard on the mare there was still plenty of blood trailing behind the stupid mare. Lace raised her graceful tiara. Then she said beyond the other mare's hearing Stupid mare. Has no skill or manners, and still decides to make petty insults. Foolish...VERY Foolish...

Karida shuddered, watching the fight thing. She was scared, again. In her eyes fire blazed, fire which had essence of scaredness and something else.. She reared up, slightly unstable and followed Silence and Lady.

Zodiac just stood back for now, but he looked at the terrified filly that watched the two mares in terror and his heart sank for the filly. This mare thought she would get what she wanted and thought she knew what Zodiac was like but the truth was she didn't know anything. Angel was much like Keeper though her heart was more against stallions and made her seem evil. Zodiac was more like Death's Keeper then the mare thought but he was also the son of Darkwing and so thats why this mare was acting like this. You had respect towards Death's Keeper why can't you give that same respect? He gave you respect because he knew you. Don't expect me to give my respect to some new mare that I don't even know the name of. But already I don't like what I see for you filly is watching you with terrified eyes and a true mare would choose to stand back with her filly instead of fight unless it was totally necessary. Zodiac only fought when he had to, he didnt' always going looking for a fight but found it fun to mess with other stallions. In this case he didn't want to fight with the current mares but he asked for them to step down for with a new stallion comes a change in positions.

Silence stopped, but she didn't look back. She didn't hear any of the foolish mare's insults, for she had blocked the mare for life. "Well, maybe I'm not a true mare," she growled. This stallion didn't know what she'd been through. She'd been a good mare when captured and taken from her home and forced to obey the stallion, couldn't mare get a freedom here and there? She continued to walk, no mare can get freedom with a suck-up mare defending a stallion.
