The Chosen Path
version 1.1:: tainted sunrise

For centuries, the equines of The Chosen Path have fought. The two alliances, Atra and Lumen are as different as night and day and bloodshed is natural between the two. The Irritus, those who, long ago, did not choose to fight are eternally cursed to indecision and linger in a strange purgatory waiting for peace to free them. The Atra, dark and hating despise the Lumen simply because they refuse to let the darker equines live in peace. The Lumen, light and determined hate the Atra simply because they refuse to let the light equines live in peace. A web so complex and confusing as a spider's weaves through the lands and there is but one escape.
Rising from the darkness, a young filly called Fantasy may be their only hope. Fantasy is determined to fight for peace and even die for it if need be. The fae is the only equine for seven-hundred years who has the ability to walk through the mountains of flame, tall alpine mountains with flames racing across their base. Any equine attempting to enter these mountains who does not wish for peace will be burned to cinders. But with Fantasy's new symbol of hope, more and more equines are seeing her side and becoming able to walk through the flames... but while many horses like Fantasy's ideas, the Atra and the Lumen are disgusted.
The Atra are becoming restless. They have no leadership save for their advisor Satan's Lyrics who is taking the power into her own hands. She plans to infiltrate the Lumen, who are also falling apart with the plagues of winter and no leadership. Satan believes that these desperate horses will take what they can get. But there is still one obstacle blocking Satan's plot. The former Lumen advisor Fairy, impeached due to a misunderstanding sees Satan's true side, if only someone would listen. That someone may just come in the form of a lonely and misunderstood young colt called Deathfire who's bloodlines are darker than anyone could imagine...
With heroes and tyrants both lurking in every corner, the web is quickly growing more and more complex. Betrayal and deceit are everything but so are love and new understanding. Really, it all boils down to one thing:

Three canon character positions and eight positions of royalty are open. We currently have a few extremely active and devoted members and are looking for more like those people to get the site going at a faster pace.
