This is my site... it's really new and doesn't have very many members yet, so please take a look.
Centuries ago, the herds lived in peace and freedom. Mares and Stallions who loved each other lived together for eternity and gave birth to foals. All land was shared, and fights were rare, if not never. But peace can never last in such power-hungry worlds. On a stormy winter night, evil came to the lands of Vertigo in the form of a tall, elegant mare who's coat was the black of blackest night and who's eyes gleamed red. She called herself Daughter of Hell, and it was Hell she brought to the lands. Any horse who defied her was killed, and she brought out the evil in every horse. Soon, she had banded together an enormous group of horses who's only thought was to kill. They were called the Dark Ones, or the Atra, and wherever the name was sounded, fear went with it. They picked off the innocent who hid, fearful in loneliest reaches of the lands. Soon, only the Dark Ones were left. Like peace however, darkness can never last, and light is found in some of the most surprising places. For years, a revolt had been rising, the horse with pure hearts banding together until their army was nearly as big as that of the Dark Ones. Their leader was Shasta, a strong and couragous white stallion. When the army became strong enough, they named themselves the Light Ones, or the Lumen. A battle was waged, and Light Ones were free to live their own alliance. During the battle, the horses drifted onto the mysterious land called the Mountains of Flame. As soon as a horse was killed on that sacred ground, and mountains burst into flame and every horse on it was killed instantly. Hell's Daughter and Shasta did not give up there, however. An eternal war was born, and it still takes place now. Meanwhile, some horses, not so cruel as the Atra but not so pure as the Lumen banded together. They feared battle, winced at the sight of blood, and never built a true alliance. The Lumen and the Atra gazed down on these horse with bitter disgust, and the ruler of the Lumen gave them a name meaning 'undecided', a name that cursed them to indecision for eternity. These horse lived this way for centuries, until now. A strange new horse has risen in the dead of night, a blue eyed filly who calls herself Magic. She claims she was sent a prophecy from the flames of the Mountains of Flame. She says she is here to stop the fighting, and help those in need. She has been true to her word, and she has cast a blanket of uneasiness over the lands. Who is this horse, and why is that she, and only she can walk in the mountains of flame? Her mystery alone has ceased the fighting, for the alliances wonder what this horse can do. Magic calls her herd the Matahari, and band of horses who are brave at heart and will die for peace. She truly was sent a prophecy from the flames, a prophecy that will change the land of Vertigo forever.
