Not Like A Fairy Tale
Alonzar
Fairytales. Fairytales are different from real life. In fairytales, good always triumphs over evil. There are always good guys, and bad guys in fairytales. but this was real life. and so no matter what side you took, you could never clearly see a good guy or a badguy. you could believe one was good and one was bad, but it wouldn't have much support to it. Because no matter how you looked at it, each stag had a story, and each had it's own reasons. And you could never say defeatingly that one was good and one was bad, because neither were. in truth no one was ever simply born bad. something always went wrong which simply affected their personal ways. Even the evilest had their reasons of soul, though most never shared them. Some were spoiled black, and took time to regain trust. Some were eternally lost. But each of those catagories are neither good or bad. In truth we all have good and bad in us, we just have to chose which winding path to travel. Taking a shortcut along your pathway, will always lead to trouble, as for you have to take time and effort into forming yourself, and even after years you would still have a lifetime of work ahead. This is real life. Not fairy tales.
Now the story of the Golden stag who's pelt gleamed handsomely as the sun beat down, yet his deep brown chasms held pain, yes, his story is a sad one. filled with bravery, and toil, yet he had made it thus far, and he has yet to move on. Never Give Up that's what had to be known always. And this stag never would he claimed it was because of a lost loved one, though deep down he knows that it isn't simply her, it is truly himself, and yet another voice speaking softly. Hard to admit it t'was but the stag had to console, that somehow he knew that his beloved had to die. It was fate, and it was meant. But that never lessened his sorrow. But even so, he would always hold close now and through this fight, that even though this day is saddening, and hard the sun will be shining tomarrow, no matter what. He just had to believe and put it behind him....
true, the stag was injured from an incredebly recent fight, though he knew that he had to do this no matter what. And his winding past will tell you why, but now that is of no use. Because now is not the time, place, or heart of kinded part, to come forth and speak of tragic, yet consoling events of the stag. And even if there was an immense amount of pain in the stag's chasms, all would most certianly in the end aknowledge the strength mentally and physically the stag had to go through with this, and all for a promise....
As the stag strode nearer to the valley scents of the arriving spring filled his flared nostrils and a soft smile played gently across his maw as he watched the life scatter 'round. The dampening soil was wet from melting ice in the arrival of spring underneath his daggers, and the sun shone brightly. Still a chilled breeze came through and reminded him that spring was still in the midst of ending winter, and warmth completely would not arrive yet....
Finally when he came to a slope in the valley he halted and let his silvery banners flutter for a moment as he gazed around, and then he finally let out a ringing call to summon forth the lead of the River Bends, so that they could begin the fight. He had never liked fights, but he knew thoroughly that this was something he must do, as a way of life and a life for anew if victory was won...
Never Give Up

On My Honor Silver mist approaching This other horse may need coaching On how to fight what one cannot see Gold and Silver But only one will surely be[T] riumphant [/color] Silver Moon, obviously silver, and a quiet stalker... A moonbeam stray, a whisp of mist, call me what you wish. But, no matter what, I am the one you cannot touch. Come on, give it your all! You'll need it... For in the distance the hero pounds the ground like thunder, and sees Alonzar as if he is the lightning. For, ever sience he could remember, Silver Moon was able to see in the dark better than others. Does his mind simply pick up reflections and lighting better? Or, maybe he's just special... But no matter! I can see you Can you see me? Or do you overlook What you wish could never be... The bravery of the moon The strength of the sun I am a solar horse With speed and cun. I Will Try OOC: *Cun shortened version of cunning... LOL!

Try to hide you may, enclosed in a moonshone mist, But today may not be your day, For the Sun will not hold an eclipse
Gold and Silver That's what this was. Mist rolled in, yet the sun beat down. The gold stag pricked an ear as the sound of daggers hitting earth came forth, and he knew that Silver Moon had arrived. Then he saw him. The sky suddenly started slowly fading to a dark gray, as the clouds rolled in. The sun still beat down though, through the clouds. Where the Golden stag stood no mist was near, but afar where Silver Moon was approaching, there was mist. As his surroundings darkened slightly his sight was not dimmed. He still saw the silver stag clearly approaching. He inhaled deeply, and exhaled calmly. His deep brown chasms never left the silver stag as he approached...
Alonzar dipped his crown to the stag and raised his form, waiting for the stag to come forth and strike first. Since the silver Moon was the lead of the River Bends, the silver stag had right to begin the fight, so he waited. The birds quieted, and the wind died down. finally Alonzar squared himself, and gave a snort. Suddenly a deep rumbling from the skies came forth, yet the sun still beat down...
A storm comes in to be, It overlooks over this fight. Watch and you will see, How the sun shall show it's might. Sun and Moon shall clash, Let the storm beat down, For the Moon will have to dash, As the light of the sun has sound.Let the Fight Begin

Silver Moon reared at his opponent. With a great, powerfull force, he beat on the ribcage of Alonzar, hearing an echo. Than, he darted away, waiting for Alonzar's first move. His senses were alert, and he was not staying still; he was zig-zagging around in the shape of a star. His sapphire optics stared steadily, though, and stayed level. He was anything but tired; this was his first fight, and he was still young. He laughed inwardly, for he must seem a silly sight. A great, big silver stag swirling and flailing his daggers around. He hoped that his attack had done some damage. He didn't want to kill Alonzar, just scare him away. Silver Moon wasn't the murderous type. He wondered if Alonzar was...
Though seeming silver, or even gray In his heart, he drives crualty away The strength of his blows The size of his foes Sun or Moon will win today
Or Tonight

Alonzar stepped back as the impact took place, and his step faltered a bit, but the Gold stag had plenty of expierience, and snaked around the silver stag as the silver stag zigzagged. The zig zagging the silver stag did, made his a hard opponent to catch, but as Alonar saw, it also made him vunerable. The Gold stag suddeny lunged out wit his ivories flashing and felt contact made, he didn't yet know the effect, but he wasn't about to stop, wait and see. Then he intercepted the silver stag's star, and aimed a ram into Moon. The impact alone that Alonzar had gave knocked the breath out of him, but he could only hope for the same impact on the silver stag. Alonzar leaped out of the interception he had made, and started snaking once again around the silver stag. He inched closer and closer to the silver sag every cylinder before finally striking out at the silver stag's barrel. He heard impact, and he felt it, but only the silver stag could clearly know the effect, but he did not pause, Alonzar wheeled around and reared up, even though he knew te vunerable risk, but he had to chance it. As he reared his daggers flailed a moment before coming down-hard on The silver stag's back, he heard a crack from the silver stag but but knew that the impact could not be so serious as to cripple the silver stag, all the same though, it must've counted for some positive response, after he took one more swing at the silver stag's neck and mis-judged the aim resulting in probably causing only slight pain, he galloped back a few leads, and paced quickly awaiting the silver stag to make a move...
The sky darkened, and thunder rolled over head, growing louder and louder each second, Alonzar's former wounds hurt but not so much as to douse his determination. Suddenly there was a loud crack, and lightning streamed down, hitting a nearby tree, and alighting it on fire. Alonzar reared as the lightning hit, but no fear showed in his chasms, only a challenging. A challenging to the fire, and lightning. And a challenging for moon to continue. The fiery tree laid more then four feet high, and covered in snaking flames, and still, in the sky over head...The Sun still shone through...

Silver Moon was hit the first time. He only faltered slightly, though, and dodged the second attack by a hair, as Alonzar tried for his vunerable underbelly. He laughed as Alonzar cracked his back. I've needed that for many a year. I was beginning to think that my spine would cause me disadvantage now, but you've showed me otherwise!Viciously, Silver Moon struck out with his maw, trying to grab Alonzar's underneck, and he hit somthing that he sank his sharpened teeth into. Where he'd hit he did not know. But, all the same, he shook his head visciously, trying for a taste of blood. He eventually tasted something. So, he shook his head once more and let go, only to be grazed on the side of his chest. The flying hoof of Alonzar missed it's intentional mark, and he watched the stag's puzzled look as he turned his back to him, galloping away. What a mistake! Alonzar was fast, but Silver Moon was faster. He hammered his daggers onto the other stag's backbone, and sunk them down. Or, that's what he thought. He opened his eyes, to find himself digging in the dirt. Alonzar had galloped too fast for Silver Moon to be able to get him. But it wasn't too late. Alonzar was turning around, and Silver charged. He let their sholders thump together, bunching up his muscles so that he did not harm himself. Luckily, the foe had been leaning on that particular sholder, and Silver Moon hoped he'd fall over. He cantered backwards, eyes never leaving his opponent, and galloped circles around the foe, but in a way that he was always facing center. He had to criss-cross his legs to do this, but he somehow managed. He stumbled for a second, but quickly righted himself before the stag could react. [Hopefully]

Gold clashed with silver The Mist taunts the lava Fire is challenged by water The forces of nature are yet to intervene Yet the sun stands strong
Alonzar took that one moment of the silver stag's recovery to slam full bodice into the silver stag. His silvery banners flared and his chasms flashed dangerously, as he used that moment to use all his weihgt to pressure. Then but a moment later he used the made contact to strike out visiously with his two back daggers in a perfect curve, aimed to hit right above the silver stag's barrel, finally alonzar felt the contact make, and he felt it--hard. It would certianly have an effect. Before another step could be taken from the gold stag he turcked in his head, and rammed the silver stag hoping for the silver stag to lose balance. the contact was again seemingly hard, yet he could not wait to observe the sffect though there would surly be one. And yet through this all he did not pause, and he did his best to avoid being in a vunerable situation. The gold stag slammed once again up against the silver stag's bodice, and for a split second thought he was going to lose balance, but he caught himself before that happened. Before any action of his could be taken, he barged into the siler stag, and at the same time he threw up his heels, to make contact with the silver stag's loin. He felt contact satisfactorly in both places, and rushed to bend his noble head and ram the stag again, the blow wasn't as hard as he had hoped but it was momentarily hard, and surly should've knocked the silver stag a bit off balance he hoped. Alonzar reared up slightly, but instantlky came down in a fake, and took that chance to nail the silver stag with his sharp daggers, while at the same time he swung his pale ivories to sink--deep into the stag's cannon. He bit and kicked down--hard--very hard, and tasted the foul stentch of blood on his ivories, finally he released with an instant slam, and reacted quickly by throwing out again his daggers and feeling hard conatct---not as hard as he had hoped but hard---seemingly hard....
Suddenly the fire from the tree spread around to the other leaves, branches and trucks setting much aflame, two nearby trees crippled and fell to the ground between the two stags as to separate the sun and moon, silver and gold. yet even the great force of nature would be able to end this fight, for t'was a fight that could not be intercepted. T'was a great battle of Gold, and Silver His Golden Determination Gift Banners of silvery white Gleam Chasms of deep hued brown Yet his Heart shines with might

Silver Moon Realized his falter may have led him to disaster as Alonzar ramed into him, at full force. After a series of attacks, Silver Moon decided to say somthing, to let some words sink into this Alonzar fellow. Do you have a mare you'd like to bring to your terra? Because I do! That is the only reason for my fighting! I had to rescue her from a murderous brute, and then YOU challenged me for my terra! YOU know what it's like to loose a loved one, but do you know what it's like to not have parents? To have been CREATED? Just suddenedly THERE? And then to love... BUT YOU DON'Y NOW! You think that you are suffering so much, but you never think of others! Self pity is a nasty bite that will be there, even if you beat me! "Never Give Up" are good words to remember, but you must also remember to be true to YOURSELF! I picked this up from someone that I knew... Remember it! His voice rang out passionatley as he fell into the dirt. The other stallion was fiercely attacking him, but was seeming to miss now that he'd fallen. When Alonzar faltered, he struck out one of his hind legs to try to trip him, but miscalculated, and the stallion was up again. Silver Moon sprang up from the dust with renewed energy as he lifted his hoof just in time to miss being bit in the cantle. He used this moment to kick the other in the face. He tried this with all his might, for he could not loose. He had to fight... For Dew Drop. He thought of her for a moment, and the passionate way that she had begged him not to fight before, because she didn't want to be the cause of bloodshed. He had challenged her evil captor who'd simply ripped her away from him at the claiming grounds, but she refused to let them fight. Silver Moon's mind pulsed as he mindlessly kicked and bit, hoping every time to hit his mark. He felt his daggers stab into Alonzar's ribcage, where he had aimed for. He felt his hooves break bone [ooc: not trying to powerplay, you can say that he didn't]bic: and snorted happily, only to be slammed in the loin with daggers of steel. He felt blood drip onto his silver legs from above, but that didn't stop him. Dew Drops Remedy's strong and yet passive image pulsed through his mind as he bit into the other stallion's nose and held fast and hard. He reared and used one dagger to try and penetrate the chest skin of Alonzar. He had forgotten being merciful long ago, when he fell to the dirt. He kept his other leg ready to attack in case Alonzar tried for his vunerable underbelly. Finally, he let go of Alonzar's muzzle and trotted backwards a pace, and rused his foe at a full-out gallop. He rammed into his chest with his back, and fell onto it. Laying face up in the dirt, he used his bloodthirsty daggers to dig into the stallion's front area. All four of them. He felt some contact, but where he was unsure of, for the dirty dust blocked his vision, but he rolled over and stood up quickly, leaving no room for falter. As he sprund up, he bared his teeth and bit into Alonzar's mane, only to be bit in the cannon. He shifted his weight backwards again, falling. Hoping that he still had Alonzar's mane in his grip, shapr daggers awaited the other stallion if he followed. Dew Drop's sweet lyrics flashed through his memory as he screamed with rage. His eyes were now storm blue, as he looked at Alonzar with bitter hatred. Or bitter love. He knew the best revenge was to give somthing, some humans had called it somting like 'Christian Revenge'. If he lost, he'd do somthing kind for the stallion so that he got his full revenge... And if he died? Revenge would be carried out. Alonzar's spirit was weakened by death. That would be revenge enough. [These are one tins solider lyrics] Listen, Children, to a story That was written long ago. About a kngdom on a mountain And a valley close below On the Mountain was a treasure Buried deep beneath the stone And the Valley People swore They'd have it for their very own...Go ahead and hate your neighbors Go ahead and cheat a friend Do it in the name of Heaven, You can justify it in the end But there won't be trumpets blowing Come the judjement day On the bloody morning after One tin soldier rides away. Now they stood beside the treasure On the mountain, dark and red Turned the stone and looked beneath itPeace on Earth was all it said... And eace is the est [R]evenge...

Never Give Up Alozar The sweet words of thersandra passed through his mind. A calmness overcame him, and his mind was settled. No guilt did he feel, no remorse, no sadness. he knew; he knew truly that Thersandra was meant to die, and now no evil could harm her any more. She stayed safe; locked in his heart and dearly warming his soul in times like this. Which explains why her death was no burden to him. Silver Moons words were so inaccurate he simply felt them brush by. finally he answered calmly and wisely
You know nothing of love stag. You may claim you do, but if you truly did, you would have something I have, and you simply lack. You are indignant, and unwise. You speak inaccurately. As one example, I am true to myself. I am myself. And you cannot judge me, for you have no clue of who I am. and as far as my past lingers, I have had no parents to lead me. It is far better to have no parents, then to be properly unwanted. You may claim I have a broken heart, but really My heart has sagged for along, and now it has been renewed. Death is not an end; It is a beginning. Now I wisely guide you by speaking that you should not speak of matters of such until you fully know the power, and accuracy of the subject taken.
The silver stag was unwise his blows did not unsettle his determination. He stood strong. His silvery banners wavered proudly, and his golden pelt gleamed. he was far wiser then this colt before him. He had more expierience. And he had endured far more then this colt could ever imagine to the greatest hieghts...
_____________________________________________________
Alonzar shook himself away, and bucked out feeling his daggers dig in with hard contact. A liquid of which Alonar assumed to be blood dripped around his daggers on the silvery pelt before he released, and wheeled around to sink his ivories into the silver stag's pelt. His brown chasms flashed, and his silvery banners wavered lightly as he lunged out in a rear, his ivories still in contact. The foul stentch of blood dripped by his ivories locked in the silver colt's flesh. And when Alonzar finall released he slammed fully into the silver stained hide....
The gold stag then wasted no time in arching his crest, and ramming the silver colt brutally. His brown chasms flashed in threat before he jab stepped, crossed over, and dlammed fully into the silver stag, while sinking his daggers into the hide and flashing his ivories feeling blood. He then backed up not releasiuing until the ;ast possible moment when he rammed into a gallop slamming into the silver stag again. He swung his hindquarters around and rammed the stag after charging into him, and striking with hid daggers out at the silver colt's head. He felt hard contact made in both places, and instanly barged through trying to knock the stag off balance...
Alonzar then charged again with two daggers brutally skinning the silver hide, and slamming into him. He then arched his crest and jabbed a ram, before wheeling around with a rear slamming down on the silver stag's loin. He sook s crown feircely, andslammed once again into the silver colt. Then he snaked around while striking out and scrapping painfully his daggers down the silver flesh. And he locked his ivories brutally into place...
He shook feircely before slamming into the silver hide, and charging with his daggers flaling purposely before making a slamming hard conact. Then he rammed full bodice into the silver hide and hoped to knowck him off balance, while he locked into place his fierce ivories. Suddenly Alonzar took off at full gallop towards the silver colt, His strong daggers moved him like an arrow, and he sped towards Moon. Then At the last possible second, Alonzar wheeled around, and bucked out at Moon, Making an intensely hard impact with both daggers upon his shoulder. Alonzar wasted no time and his banners billowed out, as the stag speedily turned around and reared up, while letting out an ear-splitting sound, and heavily landed his daggers upon Moon's back. He put his weight into the landing upon Moon. Then he jumped back, and lunged his teeth at Moon's neck, making contact and digging his ivories deep into his hide....
____________________________________
His heart was pure, and he needed no revenge. He had no hateful and bitter feelings...Not even for Desore. Sure at the beginning of Thersandra's death he hated Desore, but now... He simply knew that t'was fate thersandra was killed, and now he had to simply start anew. his love for Thersandra, and love for life was more then any could want. And to increase the strength he had met a fae called Roulette That had set him free, and heeybe even loved her as well...he just wasn't sure yet. Though all the same she warmed his soul...
He was a magnificient stag, and one to respect though he did not ask it. He had endured much, and had even felt the wrath of humans, and much more. There was not much he feared. He didn't even fear death. No, rather he embraced it. if death came upon him then t'was meant to be...he had learnt that. yet he knew that death did not fall upon him in this fight, nor fatal injury...
He would survive and strongly at that....
_______________________________________
Alonzar did not pause as he bucked out at Moon's barrel, and dug his ivories into his withers at the same time. As the gold stag's daggers came back to earth he did not release his grip with his ivories on Moon, instead he bolted into the silver stag attempting to be shoving him back. Then he bolted again, and again into Moon, and each time the shove was an attempt to push back Moon more. But he did not release his grip upon Moon's withers, instead he scraped them brutally down just beyond Moon's point of shoulder. And then the instant he realeased he reared out and threw his weight ruthlessly at Moon's barrel....
The contact came not as well as he had hoped for, but still effective...
___________________________________
No matter what win or lose, he would never never never give up. He would always try again and again until death was fased before him and then and only then would he lower his crown to accept death. But this fight would not bring death no matter the results...Life would prevail, and yet the sun still shines...

Silver Moon was shocked to learn that the other stallion felt no grief over his lost one. He slitted his eyes at this stallion. Never before had he met one like him... He seemed to be respectable, and yet... Not. Silver Moon's eyes were stormy as he easily dodged several attempts to shake him. He sent his daggers flying out as if there was no tomorrow, hitting the stallion's barrel, ribcage, and tried biting deep into the flesh of his throat, and hopefully biting Alonzar's addam's apple. He reared and he shrieked, thrusting his bloody daggers into Alonzar's sholders, and biting into his neck flesh again. He tasted the blood on his tounge, but did not release. He propelled his hind legs into the air, and let go finally as he landed onto the stag's back. He jumped and reared, knowing that he wasn't damaging him too much, but that he'd most likley trow him off balance. When he jumped off his back, he landed in Alonzar's front, back daggers grazing his face, Silver Moon feeling deep contact. He let his tail whip Alonzar's face, and whipped around, never letting his back face this other stallion. He ran to bite Alonzar's flank with his ivories, and dug in deep, and used his hind legs to kick Alonzar's neck and face area. He reared up, and came straight down, never stopping, even when he hit Alonzar's skin. He tried to skin him and seemed to be succesful. He dodged several attacks with newfound agility, and used his two front legs to pound the stallions' ribs again repeatedly, untill finally he stopped, only to whip around and strike him with his rear legs, armed with sharp daggers. He sent one dagger flying for Alonzar's skull, and one for his scraped sholder. He felt contact made, but was not satisfied. He whipped around again, and grabbed hold of the stag's nose. He tugged on the flesh, and dug his daggers into Alonzar's neck. He pulled and yanked, untill his ivories started to slip and he let go. He than bucked the stag in the face, and hoped that the right amount of damage was done. Silver Moon definantly didn't want to loose to this unrespectable brute, this devilish imp, this... this.... Silver Moon couldn't think of words to describe someone who had their loved ones killed, and to move on so early. He knew that everyone had to move on, but after some mourning. Lashing out, he kicked at the skin of Alonzar's underbelly, and felt his bucking hinddaggers hit with satisfying strength. He grabbed Alonzar's mane and ripped out some of it, and dropped it to the ground. Duh, he didn't even feel that! Stupid me... I have to aim for a more vunerable area... He finally saw an opening! He lunged in and ripped at Alonzar's neck, but stopped short. Now his legs weren't moving, and he bit into the hind right leg's tender tendons. He tried to break the leg, but only time could tell if he'd been succesful. He kicked out savegely with his hind legs once more, and hit Alonzar's hindquarters, and Silver Moon hoped that he had unbalanced him.
OOC: Post numer 5, the last one! AHHH! So, who won? Also, Reflection, did Alonzar ever react to Silver Moon's attacks? I mean, you just posted endlessly... So I did that on this one. Sort of... I wrote that he tried to dodge some attacks, but I didn't pay much mind, like I did for the others. Anyway, I hope that Shadow decides soon... I know that Shadow had to take a test....

Finally Chance halted and gave a bow as he aknoledged that he could no longer coutinue to bear the pains of his wounds from Desore. And suddenly a soft smile plyed upon his maw as he raised himself up proudly and said warmly
Well Done Silver Moon. I accept that I can no longer fight and bear the pains from Desore at the same time. And I sincerely want youo to know that you fought well, and the reason I fought instead of waiting is because I knew you had no expierience with fighting and since was injured I thought the odds to be fair; which they were. So now I leavee you with far more expeirience then you had, and I do not ask but i Tell you to always fight as well as you did here, and more. NOw I shall leave and I thank you colt.
Ad with that Alonzar dipped his noble crown and turned pacing off at a swift graceful cantor...

Silver Moon watched him go sadly. He wished that he could have shared the terra with him, but he knew that this was not allowed. He bowed to the fading figure, teardrops saying more than words. Finally, he stared away, back to his terra...
