A black mare stepped out into the open. She wanted a companion, someone to stay with. She didn't care who, just someone. Her movements were smooth and graceful, just as her mothers had been. Then she waited, waited and played around. There was nothing else to do. She was kind of different, she had a wierd past and wanted to forget about it, for now anyways.A cool breeze blew and she knew her luck was changing. Someone was bound to go see her, it was just a fact of waiting.

Many days passed but no one saw the mare. She just wandered around in circles. She decided to try going around in triangles! That was no fun so she started to run. She was running and wouldn't stop until someone came to talk to her.

ZephyrThe stag of a dark charcoal coat walked into the lands, his head high, his mind wandering as he thought. He walked on, with long strides, his dark mane shifting around in what breeze there was. His deep eyes looked around, until he saw a dove, a fae, a mare of jet black. He watched, watching her graceful movements as she ran. He neighed letting her know he was there, walking towards her. He slowed not wanting to seem like an obsessed brute stalking her. Zephyr watched her for a bit more before lowering his head and taking a bite out of some of the emerald green carpet of grass.

The onyx mare slowed to a stop. This coal black stallion had just called to her. She was suprised he'd taken the time. He would probably be one of those stallions who were heartless and cruel. But she couldn't be picky. She trotted up to him, her mane and tail blowing gently in the breeze. She stoped barely a meter away. She was scared of the stallion but would never show it. She would not lose her chance to leave, well leave with someone. She kept her head up and her neck arched. Her onyx coat shined brighter than the sun itself. Hello, Her voice was as sweet as honey but had a tone almost no stallion could resist. That was just how her voice was. My name is Misleading Light, although everyone I knew called me Light. She said and flipped her mane over her neck. What she said was true, everyone she knew had called her Light, before she left them or other. She was trying to fix her life. Although her previous actions may make it impossible.

Silver-blue orbs surveyed an area, auds pricked, and crown raised high. A misty stag gazed towards a sleek, onyx mare. With her was a charcoal stag, but they didn't seem deep into any conversation to the stag. With a gentle gait, the stag seemed to float over the land like a fog, rolling fast into the night. He stepped in the shadows of trees, gently swaying his tail in and out of the shade, for he did not want to startle the mare. His daggers did not dig up any earth, though he was swift with cunning speed. As he reached the fae, the shadows thinned. He stopped in broad moonlight, though the misty effect did not fade. He hadn't overheard any of their conversation, though he could have. He just chose not to, for if they had been talking about personal matters he would not want to intrude. His tresses and banner flew in the breeze, adding to the wispy, foggy effect. Finally, he opened his maw and spoke, his voice like a waterfall going into a deep pool of water. G'night, pretty fae. I apologize if I am interrupting anything, he said, nodding to both her and the other stag. I am one called Silver Moon. I am sorry if I am making you repeat yourself, but may I know your calling? As he said this, his silver-blue orbs looked into hers, and they glowed with kindness and understanding. As he awaited her reply, his banner and tresses billowed around, and his orbs had an uplifting shine. They stood out against his silvery bodice, which all seemed to blend together. He blinked but once against the wind, and breathed easily. The fae he looked at was pretty indeed, at least on the outside. What was inside her, he did not know. But he hoped to find out, that she would let him in through open doors. If he had to pry his way in, though, he would just let the closed doors open in their own time. For he knew that if you tried to wrench doors open, they'd just shut tighter still. So, he decided that he'd get in if she let him in; if she did not, then, oh well. With his crown raised diligently, he awaited her reply.

She looked at the new stallion, Silver Moon. She was surprised to have two stallions talking to her. Her eyes hid her past well, the past she would never escape. It was hard to think about. She shook the thoughts out of her mind, or at least pushed them to the back of her mind. My name is Misleading Light or just Light. Nice to meet you Zephyr, Silver Moon. She said nodding to each in turn. Yes, it is beautiful, I can't imagine a better day. She said looking up at the sky. Her coat gleamed as if a million black diamonds were embedded in her coat. She flicked her tail and when a breeze blew, her mane whipped around in a majestic way. She looked at each stallion wondering what each of them was like. She still didn't believe there was two stallions talking to her, though she knew this was no dream.
