. Her dark bodice moved along, her head bobbing along in time with her canter pace. Just a week ago she had entered her fifth year of life. Before being kicked out. Soul slowed to a canter and carried on wondering and pondering. Why? Why had she been kicked out. She hadn't been that bad had she? The cold spring air made her shiver as the icy sun beamed down, shining on her hind. Her hind started to warm up slightly. She had her fathers shire build but her mothers arabian coat, which in this weather didn't help her at all. . Soul wondered what her brother had been like. The funny thing was, they'd never found his body. He'd just disappeared, so everyone presumed him dead. Except her mother. She didn't give up hope till exactly 2 years after he'd disappeared, her second birthday. The thoughts still swam in her head as she stopped in her head and lowered her head to try some emerald coloured grass. As she grazed she avoided standing in the shadows, which again didn't help her warm up. Only her neck was warm and that was because of her long thick course (shire) mane.

Frost lined the ground from the cold night, the morning air still crisp but the sun was rising and with its rays beating down already the morning was warming up. Hoofbeats could be heard as a shadow moved upon the emerald feild. Alot had happened within his home and now no one was to be found. It had grown vaccent and he doesn't know what happened to his loves or foals. The stallion came to the top of the hill and began walking down the slope when his dark orbs layed upon a black mare. Her white showing brightly with help from the sun and he quickly pointed out she was bigger built then some but still had a finer coat. He showed the breeding of his mother a strong friesian with the feathering upon his legs but held also the breeding of his father an andalusian. Together they had made this stag. His ebony body moved with a natural grace over to the black mare where he stopped. His muscles rippled beneath his ebony coat. E'llo. My name is Zodiac. May I know your name?

. Through her amber-brown orbs she saw a stag of dark colouring, he looked graceful, ina manly way. She would never, could never be that graceful or elegant. She watched as he neared her and as she heard his voice ring out, or it may just of been to her. To her it had a sound of strenght. Though again that might just of been her. She wondered if her brother had ben anything like him. She hoped so. It was one of those first time things. For all she knew he could be a horrible brute who was like her father. At first her words were rough and quiet but then got as smooth as silk and louder. Hi She raised her head further up, until her head was level with his. My name is she paused Royale Soul, Zodiac. Then she reliesed she wasn't proud of her name. Sorry if I seem dumb or something like that but, I'm not quite sure what this place is called. Could you please tell me the name? And with that she smiled.

His forelock fell between his ears and covered over one side. Though it blocked most of the view from one of his dark orbs he still had no trouble in seeing the beautiful mare that stood in front of him. She started out low, she seemed unsure of herself and if she really wanted to tell him her name. Then she asked a question, it wasn't stupid. He didn't expect her to know the mountains in which she came too. Most horses didn't, they just showed up and made it there new home. You are in the Arrowhead Mountain Range Soul.

. Thank You The words left loud but delicate. Arrowhead? Isn't that a sort of shape thing? Soul remembered her mother mentioning shapes once. The thought made her smile, though in her eyes not at her mouth. Zodiac, may I ask but how big is the range? She was asking the weirdest questions. She laughed for a moment Sorry I can get very interested in something really bring, it sorta runs in the family. Apparently my brother- half brother was just like that. We must of got it of our mum. Not that I'd know about what he was like. Soul looked into the orb of Zodiacs which wasn't covered. He didn't seem like the type to be unbelievably cruel.

Zodiac listened to Soul as she spoke, was she nervous around him? he wondered for she was trying to explain things when she didn't need to. But he brought his attention back to the question and he couldn't really answer it too much for he still hadn't explored it completely. Yes, arrowhead is a shape. And the range is large, I can not go into great detail for I have not explored all of the lands. He himself lived within the mountains but other terratories were found in the desert and plains. Zodiac gave the answer he could best give her without being wrong and then asked. Where do you come from?

. I used to live on a terratory named Silver moon plains, it was names as such because whenever night arrived the reflection from the moon would always reflect on to the plains. MY mother described it as romantic. I described it as pretty-but-extremely-cold-at-night A laugh escaped her lips and a played at her lips. The range, I seem to remember was called Haven Valley. I always thought the person who names it must've ben extremely big headed. It's not that perfect. She paused for thought And you? Were you born here or did you come? I shouldn't be so nosy. She laughed inwardly I'd never do it.

Zodiac listened as Soul spoke and just simply let a smile cross his maw. She had lived on a plain and he lived within the forest. He picked his head up a little as she as him a question. He grinned and replied. Yes, I was born within these lands. My home terra was Thundering Ridge. Forest in the lower part and as you went up you had the dangerour rocky mountain ridges. Now I have claimed my own terra within the lands and have a small family to love and protect. Yes, he had a herd but he wasn't doing a great job at protecting it. Winter was gone. His first filly and now she was gone because of the wolves.

. Soul smiled. I take it you are still living in the same terra. Sorry I'm a bit dumb. She paused thinking of how she'd grown and how the fillys and mares in her herd had lived and loved it. Are you happy in your herd? I mean with your herd? Soul muffled a yawn. Sorry I've been run- She quickly rephrased her words Travelling for a week. Not non-stop though. Soul smiled. Well I loved being in my herd before I got chucked out she thought grumpily.
