The buckskin splashed mare walked into the lands, her head carried low, her pelt dampened with sweat and her nostrils flared. She was tired of running from humans and stallions and wished it all to be over but the threat of both still lingered even here. Her limbs shook unable to carry her anymore and she collapsed to her knees and finally just gave in and laid her dial in the grass. She wondered what would happen now, stallions would swarm in and ask if she was alright and pretend to be nice, she would decide to go with one and turn out that he beat his mare too. Fantasia sighed and closed her eyes only hopeing that her journey was over and she could find the nice stallion, not a pretender.

A pale coated stag cantered into the land. He slowed to a walk and looked around. One mare caught his eyes, she looked pretty with a painted coat. Slowly he walked over to her. Hehoped he would not sound rude when he spoke. Greetings M'lady

The stag galloped smoothly to the claiming lands. He paused for a moment to look around slightly, and his blue orb was caught upon a fae who had a sort of uniqueness about her. he wished to know her better. So he changed lead and turned towards the fae......
He slowed to a halt and bobbed his head at the stag who was already speaking to the fae before gently saying to the fae that stood before him Greetings M'lady. I apologize for interupting but my curious side of me took hold, and conquered. The stag bowed his head and focused his orbs into hers as he said My calling is Illusion, and I hope that my ears could be so greatly graced upon hearing the name of which you are dubbed... His gaze with her never ceased as he spoke to the fae, and his orbs shone with curiosity, he felt the strange need to get to know the fae that stood so gracefully before him. As he searched her orbs, he found scraps of memories. Her past had not been a light one. That was certian, and he hoped dearly the fae would not think of him as a threat.......

Fantasia had gotten a little sleep before the first stallion arrived. She rose to her feet and shook the grass from her painted coat. Her brown orbs then layed upon the first stag and before she could reply to him another stag came upon her and both seemed nice but what was their true intentions. The first had managed a hello, but no name to call him by so she would still refere to him as a stag or brute for she didn't know either of them. She listened to the second one getting the name Illusion from him and she nickered back to both, her voice strong and had a gentleness to it seemed to hold something else to it, perhaps fear of her past. Hello, I go by the name Fantasia. She kept her dial up for she would not show respect or loyalty to just any stallion, you had to earn it and if you didn't want to spend time to get it then you were not worthy of it anyway.

There was gentleness in the mare's voice, but also power. She was indeed a unique mare. Illusion's piercing blue orbs gazed deep into hers as he spoke Fantasia......It is Indeed fit name....It seems to hold uniqueness and most certianly beauty.... He seemed to be almost spellbound as he gazed into her orbs, until he suddenly snapped back and said with curiosity Was it your name by birth? His blue orbs shone with curiosity, it wasn't a usual question, But Illusion wanted to know fantasia better, and an ovbious way of doing so was asking questions, so he patiantly waited for he response......

Fantasia was a bit put back by the question, it wasn't the usual question she heard but perhaps all he wanted was to get to know her. Fantasia relaxed for none of the stallions seemed evil at heart. Yes, it was. Why do you ask? Her own curiousity began to show, she really did like having company but her past led her away from trying to even talk to stallions and perhaps now it was time to begin changing for a better and brighter future.

No real reason, It's just that some change their names because of their past, or because their birth names did not fit. And the horses who change their names seem to have well, a more fitting name to the soul. Your name just fits you so splendidly that it seems to speak your heart. Illusion said thoughtfully. Then he turned his blue orbs to her and said suddenly Did you know that Fantasia means A free composition structured according to the composer's fancy Or A medley of familiar themes, with variations and interludes? It's just very....coincidental that you seem to be a greatly unique and that seems to be the definition of your name. It also is used as fantasy. and well.....Your name sings the song of your heart so sweetly that it is well....extraordinary... Illusion was speaking only from his thoughts, and with true honesty. Fantasia was a very intresting mare. there was certianly more that her that what just appeared to be so.
Illusion turned his thoughts back and looked back at Fantasia as he spoke his question What brings you to the lands of Arrowhead Mountians? He asked just as curiously as before. His blue roan banners wavered gently in the brisk, chilled wind as he waited for the soft melody of her response, and he listened carefully so that her words might not be carried away by the rising wind......

Fantasia smirked slightly at Justice's words. She knew she was pretty she had heard it before and that seemed to be what got her in so much trouble with dark hearted, aggessive stallions plus her fiery spirit when she wanted to try and tease the stallions. But she always welcomed comments and seeing as Justice wasnt' much of one with words, perhaps he was shy she would thank him. Thank you Justice. She knew he ment well and he was a kind stallion. He had no dark intentions she could see just from his gazing into his orbs. She was going to have to choose a stallion in the end though and she was beggining to dread it already. Finally Illusion spoke up again, he was different from Justice for he wasn't shy with words and talked more. Each was different and both were nice neither had strayed away from her as for one she thought she should stay away from. She listened to Illusion, she hadn't really known the meaning of her name just that her mother gave her the name when she was born. She was one of the few that grew into their name instead of changing the name to fit them. She noticed a pause and decided it was a time to reply and her gentle words came once again. No, I didn't know the meaning. I guess my mom picked a suitable name for me then. She thought about her mother a bit and her orbs began to water, she loved her parents deeply and she was tore apart from them because of the humans. Her dark orbs moved from sad to angry within seconds. The past was horrible and she wished to let it stay in the past, it will not ruin her future. Once again she raised her head back to hear Illusions words, another question this one she would have to think about a little, she just happened to end up here, perhaps it was just luck or it was fate. Well first I was running from humans and then I was running from abusive stallions and I just happened to colapse here. So my answer for your question is that I am here to try and start over so that I can maybe put my past behind me. That was her answer and she was sticking to it, she also hoped to perhaps find love but she was not going to say that. Usually the ones she loved got ripped away from her or died and so she was scared to love again.

Sympathy hit Illusion as Fantasia spoke of how she came to be here. He to had witnessed the same, but along with much, much more.....But that was in the past and he had to move on. He listened carefully to her words and agreed fully with her about her choice. He spoke with understanding, and expierience as he replied to Her answer. That Is a most wise decision. He looked into her orbs and continued If you dwell on your past for too long and don't put it behind you, the only thing that results from it is guilt, greif, bitterness, hate, in two words; Negative feelings. It really damages your soul if it captures you, and It is almost impossible to escape. Trust me I know. Warmness fills my heart as I hear you say You are ready to start anew and put behind you your past. And I feel jubilant that you are a strong mare that will not get sucked into the depths of somber souls. For it is a dark and dreary path. One you can get lost to forever, If you have travled to far along it. But thankfully, You have the heart to avoid that path. Memories of expirience swarmed in Illusion's orbs..........

Justice smiled and flicked his auds forwards. I assure you that all the stallions here, that I have met, are nice. Friendy, most of the funny and humorous. He looked straight at her You shine, everyone can see that and if they can't see that they're blind. Put it behind you and look to the future

Illusion listened ti Justice's words and agreed about he being beautiful, and it being a good thing to start anew. But the part about there not being cruel stallions....Well, he decided that he should at least warn her. he turned to Justice and said Well, be glad you have met only those stallions. He turned to Fantasia and said But sadly, there are some stallions with evil hearts. They probably meet the same standards as your stallion before, But thankfully, none of them are here and we do not need to talk of them for fear of bringing back unwanted memories. Illusions blue orbs were filled with compassion for the mare. he most certianly did not want to bring her back any memories that were of the past, and most certianly not a dark shroud..... Anyway, to lighten up the conversation, Illusion looked back at Fantasia and said What were the lands of which you used to live? His daggers dug deep unto the aerth as he patiantly awaited a response.......

Justice looked at Fantasia. That was a good question, he just hoped the bad history thing wouldn't start again because if it did he might as well step back.

Fantasia listened to both stallions, though she wished there to be no dark hearted stallions it just couldn't be true. There was always one around to try and hurt others just for the fun of seeing them hurt. Fantasia was strong hearted and had dwelled enough on the past that if she wanted to she could make herself cold hearted and be just like those that she hated, but thats not what her mother or father would have wanted and so she would try to go back to being herself and begin a new life.
Soon Illusion asked anothe question bringing her back from thinking about why she was here and what she was doing. The question lingered for a bit as she looked back on her past trying to remember her life before it had changed so suddenly. Well I grew up on the plains by the Black Hills mountain range. There was always food and water, if you knew where to look but there wasn't much for cover and when the humans came we ran straight into their trap. Fantasia lowered her dial a bit thinking of how she would never see her parents or anyone else from the herd again. Her mind clouded once again but only for a second and then she raised her dial once again, she would not think of what was but would go back to thinking about what she can do for a future. Neither of the stallions that stood before her were evil, one was a little more shy then the other but both were kind, to her atleast.

Justice watched her. Some things never stop. Bad memories come but you can stop them, if you have any He murmed it to himself more than anything. Justice knew he seemed shy but he was scared that his words would get jumpbled up and A} make him look a Fool B} come out wrong. You seem so sweet so but things behind you- just keep an eye open

Illusion looked at Justice and nicely said (not trying to correct him) Yes that is true but... He turned to Fantasia and said I think the only way to really be free of the memories is to forget about them, and actually dont keep an eye open. Otherwise they will always haunt you... His blue orbs glistened as he spoke to fantasia Once you truly let go of your past, it will not longer follow you. Who you were in your past or what happened in your past most certianly does not lead your future. When you start a new life you must not grasp onto somber memories...You must simply let go.... He continued softly I too will never see my parents again, but that is only because, my evil father killed my mother, and now at this time he too, is finally dead...
Illusion's banners whisped slightly in the wind as he thought of another question. Since he couldn't think of any he decided to ask her an indirect question, but a question all the same. Fantasia, I can not think of another question, so....Can you just tell me something you like, or feel particularly proud of, or such about yourself?... It was also a strange question. probably his strangest yet, but he just really wanted to get to know the fae. for she was willing to release the past, and grip tightly the present, while looking to the future as well, and that was most certianly unique.......

Justice smiled at Illusions question. He looked at Fantasia I'm sorry that what i said sounded weird. You shouldn't keep an eye open, if Illusion says not for two reasons. 1. I have no experiance of a bad past. Something that always keeps me left out He murmed the last bit more to himself than to Illusion and Fantasia. And 2 Most of the time, when I speak my words come out jumbled

Fantasia watched both stallions, she could see what Justice ment in his words and though they both said to completely forget about her past she thought of it as the worst thing to do. She needed to yes, keep her past behind her and not let it control her future. I can not throw my whole past behind me, I keep the good memories of when I was a foal, but memories will never completly leave my mind for that is when they jump out and haunt you, no I will keep them but use them to protect my future. Her words were strong and she would not let the thoughts of humans gathering her again put her in fear as they had before.
Another question now laid open for her by Illusion but before she answered she listened to Justice, he was begining to open up a bit, perhaps if she asked questions to him she could get him to completly open up to her to see the true beauty of what he was about. But for now there was a question for her to answer to and so she wouldn't leave Illusion hanging, but she really wasn't sure what to say. Things that I like, I like to be able to run and be free. Not stuck in a human contraption or bond tightly by a stallion. The last part didn't come out just like she wanted and she wondered if the stallions would take it the wrong way. Her last stallion had kept a tight group and she just needed room to stretch not constantly putting up with the other mares. Once a stallion had her trust she was loyal to him and no one else and that was what made her what she was for she will fight to the death for what she loved. The last part of Illusion's question still lingered in her head though, was there anything that she was proud of about herself. No, she had nothing to be proud of perhaps being able to escape the humans but even that didn't seem to hard.
